but for me the idea of using myself as subject is quite apealing because it would give me the chance to examine the social conection between the artist and the other. By creating both inwardly focused work and outwardly focused work it would give the opertunity to compare the two, especialy to see how honest i would be in a self critical scenario.
also the idea of projecting this kind of video/ animation work onto things such as sculptures or manequins could be very interesting. I think there has to be a distinction between someones physical representation and an expression of the more intangible aspects of their persona so using light in this manner could be quite good, possibly even onto less tangeible objects like water, ice or smoke.

anyways i'm moving on with some explorations with paint we'll see how well they come out and i'll keep you all posted.
